PARENTHOOD

Parenthood fascinates and challenges me. Its intimacy, distance, longing, rejections and ambitions. The expectations from the child, the parent, the extended family and society. Many of us have experienced how high expectations can create dangerously high places to fall from. 

Through these images I wish to reflect on the conflict, ambivalens and vulnerability that the parent - child relationship comes with.
